MARK H. POZZI, AIA
Senior Architect
Mark’s father was a partner in Carlin, Pozzi & Chin, a prominent mid-century modern architectural firm based in New Haven. Growing up in his father’s office, Mark gained an early and intuitive understanding of how buildings come together—and how design and construction must relate to one another in an intentional, coherent way.
In a path rarely seen today, Mark became a licensed architect after a ten-year apprenticeship, without pursuing a formal degree in architecture. His practical knowledge and hands-on experience make him an invaluable problem-solver, able to quickly assess both opportunities and challenges and to guide clients, designers, consultants, and trades toward well-crafted, aesthetically sound solutions.
Outside the office, Mark is a professional drummer who performs with local bands—and can occasionally be spotted behind the kit at New Haven’s live-music venues.
