The Nest at Greenfield Hill

CWA completed our fourth project with The Nest/Alphabet Academy, which involved the full renovation of a former bank building in Fairfield, CT into a daycare center for seventy young children and twelve teachers and administrators.

A two-story addition was added with three classroom on the first floor and two on the second. We integrated a commercial kitchen that is visible to and accessible from the main entrance. The kitchen space is an important school function and focus. We also designed outdoor space connections from each classroom, either directly or indirectly.
